What does the logo show?
The logo shows two stylized Greek letters: Psy (ψ) and Eta (η). Above the letters are two dots representing heads. Together they form the image of two figures sitting opposite each other in conversation.
What do Psy and Eta mean?
Psy stands for my background as a psychologist. The Greek letter Psi (ψ) is the initial letter of the word Psyche and at the same time a globally recognized symbol for psychology.
Eta stands for my background as an ethnologist. The Greek letter Eta (η) refers to ethnology, the study of the diversity of human ways of life.
Both letters thus stand for the two academic and professional directions from which my therapy and my view of people have developed: psychology and ethnology.
On eye level
The two figures stand or sit opposite each other on eye level. That is exactly how I envision therapy: client and therapist meet on eye level, not as expert and advice-seeker, but as two people working together on a shared concern. The logo is the program.
