Clinical-psychological diagnostics

As a psychotherapist and long-time lecturer in psychological diagnostics, I offer clinical-psychological diagnostics in various areas — from the assessment of individual symptoms to complex concerns where multiple diagnoses or subclinical symptom constellations play a role.

Diagnostic focus areas

ADHD diagnostics

ADHD diagnostics include anamnestic interviews, clinical interviews, questionnaire procedures, and the collection of third-party anamnestic data (e.g., elementary school report cards, conversations with partner or parents). I also assess additional neurodivergent traits that often accompany ADHD. At the end, you receive a detailed assessment report.

Autism diagnostics

Autism diagnostics also take place over several sessions with anamnestic interviews, clinical interviews, and test procedures. Third-party anamnestic data is also included here, and additional neurodivergent traits are considered. You receive a detailed assessment report.

Diagnostics for complex concerns

Perhaps you have received several diagnoses over the course of your life — from different places, at different times, sometimes contradictorily. Or you don't yet know exactly what is going on, but you have a sense that something connects that hasn't been recognized before. Perhaps you have also been told again and again that your symptoms "don't fit the picture" — and you wonder whether there could be a different picture. I would like to sit down with you and take the time — carefully, above all — to understand what is actually coming together here. This takes time. But careful diagnostics are the prerequisite for therapy that goes exactly where it is needed — and does not work past you.

Process of diagnostics

Diagnostics usually comprise several sessions: anamnestic interviews, clinical interviews, questionnaire procedures (test diagnostics), and the collection of third-party anamnestic data. You can end the process at any time without giving reasons — in that case, only the costs for services rendered up to that point apply. At the end, you receive a detailed assessment report.

Reports and assessments

I prepare psychotherapeutic reports and assessments for applications to health insurance funds, pension insurance, or the medical service. These include psychopathological findings, statements on applications for medical rehabilitation measures, psychotherapeutic assessment reports, and indication letters in the context of trans identity. These are prepared exclusively after thorough diagnostics.
